About Brown Label wines:
Each vintage, we select a series of exceptional single-vineyard, single-varietal wines that showcase the unique terroir of Washington State. These "Brown Label" wines are a celebration of place, reflecting the distinct character of the land and the dedication of the growers who cultivate it. Grown from carefully chosen rows of vines rooted in thoughtfully farmed land, these bottles are born from a deep respect for the history and viticulture of each site. Our partnerships with talented farmers, built on trust and shared passion, allow us access to some of the most spectacular grapes the state has to offer. These wines are all about relationships – with the land, with the growers, and with you. Released twice a year, in November and February, these terroir-driven wines offer a true taste of Washington's diverse and exceptional vineyards.
About Stoneridge Creek Vineyard:
Owned by the Davis family, a long-standing farming presence on the Royal Slope, Stoneridge Vineyard is a testament to perseverance and adaptation. Originally planted in 2000 by Roy and Rhonda Davis, the vineyard was further developed by their son Seth, who transitioned varieties to better suit the unique terroir. This warm site, characterized by cobbly and gravelly sandy loam soils, is sustainably farmed by Lawrence Vineyards since 2018. Stoneridge gained renown as the source of Charles Smith's 100-point Royal City Syrah (2006 vintage), a landmark achievement for Washington wine. The vineyard cultivates a diverse range of varieties, reflecting its adaptability and the dedication of the Davis family. The name "Stoneridge" honors the original farm name, "Bedrock Farms," and the rocky terrain that defines this exceptional site.
