Winemaker’s Note: Set your sights on this traditional french style blend. A fortress of flavors. You are sure to find a safe haven in this left bank blend. Pour a glass and enjoy the view.
On the nose: Mint, Basil, Oregano, Strawberry, Raspberry
On the palate: Surprisingly this wine is more fruit-forward than “earth-forward”
Food pairing ideas: This year’s Bartizan is a much more representative of a French style Bordeaux Blend and is lighter in body as a result. This wine will be great with soft cheeses, grilled salmon, roasted mushrooms and chicken!

What is a ‘Bartizan’?
A bartizan is a small, turret-like structure projecting from a building and serving especially for lookout or defense. Like a turret offering a commanding view, our Bartizan Bordeaux blend provides a complex and layered tasting experience. This "fortress of flavors," as our winemaker describes it, is a traditional French-style blend, a safe haven of Left Bank character. Pour a glass and enjoy the view – a panoramic exploration of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and other Bordeaux varietals, each contributing to the wine's strength, structure, and enduring character, much like the stones of a fortified tower.
